Dolgencorp Inc. is recalling toy xylophones sold at Dollar General stores because the red mallet included with the toy can become lodged in young children's throats, creating a choking hazard. The xylophone is white and rectangular with a green handle, multi-colored bars in red, yellow, green, and blue, and a yellow cat-face button on the front. The red mallet has two round balls at each end. The packaging states "BABY TOYS XYLOPHONE, TO HELP BABY LEARN AND DEVELOP" and "MADE IN CHINA."

Consumers who have purchased this toy should immediately remove it from children and return it to their local Dollar General store for a full refund.

Writing on the box reads, "BABY TOYS XYLOPHONE, TO HELP BABY LEARN AND DEVELOP, and MADE IN CHINA."
