Arctic Cat Corporation is recalling certain Arctic Cat 500 ATVs due to a potential inadequate weld on the front upper A-arm bracket. If this bracket separates from the frame during use, the rider could lose control of the vehicle and suffer serious injury. The recall applies only to green ATVs with "Arctic Cat 500" written on the front of the chassis and VIN numbers between 4UF02ATV12T206459 and 4UF02ATV42T207010, which can be found on the right rear corner of the frame.
Consumers who own an affected ATV should contact their authorized Arctic Cat dealer to schedule an appointment for a free replacement of the bracket.

The Arctic Cat 500 is a four-wheeled ATV with a manual transmission. These models carry the identification "Arctic Cat" on both sides of the bodywork, inboard of the operator's knee location. The ATVs are green with "Arctic Cat 500" written on the front of the chassis by the steering control. This recall pertains only to the ATVs that have one of the following VIN numbers: 4UF02ATV12T206459 through 4UF02ATV42T207010. The VIN number is located on the right rear corner of the frame.
