Conair has recalled the BabylissPro 052 Series Professional Compact Hair Dryer sold under several brand names including Babyliss® Pro Mighty Mini, Babyliss® Pro Nano Titanium, Babyliss® Pro Porcelain Ceramic, BabylissPro TT® Tourmaline, and BabylissPro TT® Tourmaline Titanium. The hazard occurs when the spinning fan inside the hair dryer breaks apart and strikes the plastic shell, causing it to shatter and creating a laceration risk.
Affected consumers can identify their hair dryer by checking the model name on the plastic shell and verifying the "1000W" marking and model number on the handle against the specific model numbers listed in the recall. Consumers should immediately stop using the hair dryer and contact Conair to receive a free replacement hair dryer.
