What happened

E-filliate Inc. is recalling Ziotek brand extension cords due to reversed polarity that poses electric shock and electrocution hazards. The recalled cords are black and measure approximately one to two feet long, with "MSL" imprinted on the three-pronged plug. Single-receptacle cords display www.ziotek.com on the cord, while double-receptacle cords have "ZIO TEK" printed on the splitter. These cords were manufactured in China. Cords bearing "MSL" on the plug and a yellow "QC" label are not affected by this recall.

Consumers who have the recalled cords should unplug them immediately and call E-filliate to receive a prepaid shipping label for returning the product. Upon return, consumers can choose either a free replacement cord or a full refund. Consumers who return the recalled product will also receive a 10 percent discount on a Cyberguys product.

These extension cords were manufactured in China. Cords that have the letters "MSL" imprinted on the plug, but which also have a yellow "QC" label wrapped around the cord, are not included in this recall.
