The Consumer Product Safety Commission and The Children's Place have recalled baseball-themed shirts and rompers for boys in sizes 3 to 36 months because the buttons can detach and pose a choking hazard to young children. The recalled shirts come in gray, blue, white, or red with contrasting trim and feature four baseball-shaped buttons down the front, along with "Baseball Place USA" embroidery on the left front and "Place" with the number "9" on the back. The recalled rompers are similarly styled in gray, blue, or red with contrasting trim, also featuring four baseball-shaped buttons down the front, snaps around the crotch, and matching embroidery.

Consumers should immediately remove these clothes from their children. According to the recall, affected consumers should return the shirts or rompers to the nearest The Children's Place store for a full refund and a 10 percent discount coupon.

The shirts have four baseball-shaped buttons down the front. A tag at the neck reads in part, "The Children's Place, Made in Turkey". On the left front of the shirt there is an embroidered baseball surrounded by the words, "Baseball Place USA". "Place" and the number "9" are embroidered on the back of the shirt. The recalled one-piece rompers are gray, blue or red with contrasting colors at the trim. They were available in boys' sizes 3 to 36 months. The rompers have four baseball-shaped buttons down the front and snaps around the crotch. A tag at the neck reads in part, "The Children's Place, Made in Turkey".
