Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Manco Products Inc. is recalling one- and two-seat gasoline-powered go-karts sold under the Manco, Phoenix, Fox, Rattler, and Coyote labels. These go-karts have guards intended to prevent entanglement, but riders' long hair or loose clothing can still become entangled in partially exposed rotating components behind the drivers' seats, which can cause death or serious injury. The recall affects two groups of go-karts: those with black plastic deck covers over the rear axle and brake with serial numbers between 1757022 through 1855821 or 3000010 through 3050632, and those with a cross-over jackshaft drive system with serial numbers lower than 1757022. The serial number is printed in black on a silver label on the floor pan immediately in front of the driver's seat.
According to the recall announcement, consumers should immediately stop using these go-karts and call Manco for a free repair kit with installation instructions. Alternatively, consumers can contact any Manco dealer for free installation of the repair kit.
