What happened

SCOTT is recalling Vanish Evo bicycle helmets because they do not meet the impact protection requirements set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The recalled helmets have "SCOTT" printed on the left side of the outer shell (in black lettering on black and gray models, or white lettering on white and gray models) and have serial numbers ranging from 2014-06/009359 through 2014-09/027210, which can be found on a white sticker inside the back of the helmet.

If you own one of these helmets, you should stop using it immediately and bring it to an authorized SCOTT dealer to receive a refund of the purchase price.
