What happened

Fiskars has recalled Titanium Bypass Lopper shears, model number 6954, sold exclusively at Home Depot. The lopper shears have 32-inch dark orange steel handles with black rubber grips and a gray strip. The handles can break when attempting to cut branches, which poses a risk of serious injury and laceration. The shears feature plastic gears connected to pruning blades that open and close when moving the handles, with "FISKARS" printed on one handle and product identification including the model number on a label on the opposite handle above the barcode.
