American Signature is recalling 26-inch table lamps due to improper wiring that can cause shock and fire hazards. The recalled lamps have a 16-inch tall rectangular shade and a square dark wood and mirror base with a mirrored circle pattern on the front. A silver on/off dial appears on the lower front of the base. The lamp is labeled with "NOVA, Item Number 1010154 and UL E312412" on the underside of the base, and appears on sales invoices as "26" TBL LAMP-MIRROR CIRCLE."
Consumers who own a recalled lamp should immediately unplug it and stop using it. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should return the lamp to the nearest Value City Furniture or American Signature Furniture store for a full refund or store credit equal to the purchase price. American Signature states it is contacting all known consumers directly.
