Brooks Furniture Glider Rockers
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Brooks Furniture has recalled two models of glider rockers (styles 1529P and 1529V-LM) that were sold exclusively through Kaplan Early Learning. The recalled chairs have maple wood frames and were manufactured between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012. The 1529P model features blue fabric upholstery, while the 1529V-LM model has beige vinyl upholstery and a locking mechanism. You can identify a recalled chair by checking for the style number and manufacture date printed under the seat and the Brooks Furniture label on the seat cushion.
The spindles in the glider base of these chairs can separate during use, which creates a fall hazard. If you own one of these recalled glider rockers, you should stop using it immediately and contact Brooks Furniture to receive a free replacement base.
