What happened

Master Cutlery has recalled Karambit neck knives with model number MT-664UC-SO sold exclusively at Big 5 Sports. The recalled knife is a half-moon shaped blade measuring 7 inches long in urban camo print with "MTech USA" laser printed on the blade. The knife comes with an unmarked molded black sheath approximately 4.5 inches long that features a snap clip on the back and beaded lanyard chain. The sheath does not hold the knife securely, allowing it to fall out unexpectedly and creating a laceration hazard to consumers.

Consumers who own this recalled knife should immediately stop using it and store both the knife and sheath in a safe area. Affected consumers should contact Master Cutlery for instructions on how to obtain a free replacement sheath.
