What happened

StyleCraft Home Collection has recalled upholstered benches sold exclusively at HomeGoods. The recalled benches are two-person stretcher benches in espresso finish with linen cloth upholstery, measuring approximately 44 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 17 inches high. They feature burnished brass tacks, espresso-stained wooden legs with an x-shaped support, and have part number SF1918AMM printed on the bottom. The benches were made in China.

The benches can crack and break during normal use, creating a fall hazard. According to the recall notice, consumers who own these benches should immediately stop using them and contact StyleCraft for instructions on receiving a free replacement.
