Cycling Sports Group is recalling three models of 2014 tandem Cannondale bicycles—the Road 1, Road 2, and 29 Tandem—because the bicycle fork can break, which could cause riders to lose control and risk injury. The Road 1 and 29 Tandem models have black frames with white graphics, while the Road 2 has a white frame with red and black graphics. All affected bicycles have "Cannondale" and either "T1" or "T2" printed on the aluminum frame; the 29 model additionally has a 29 graphic decal on the frame.
According to the recall, consumers should immediately stop using the bicycles and return them to the nearest authorized Cannondale dealer to receive a free replacement fork.
