What happened

Philips Selecon is recalling four-leaf and eight-leaf barndoors used on Rama Fresnel and Rama PC stage lights. The barndoors consist of hinged black metal flaps attached to a six-inch plastic collar. The heat from the stage lights can cause the barndoors to detach and fall, creating a risk of impact injuries to people below. The recalled four-leaf barndoors have part number 20BDSF12 and the eight-leaf barndoors have part number 20BDSF128; part numbers appear only on the product invoice.

Consumers who have these barndoors should immediately stop using them and contact Philips Selecon for a free safety cable and installation instructions.
