Specialized is recalling 2012 model year Source Eleven and Source Expert Disc bicycles equipped with Supernova Switchable Dynamo Front Hubs. The set screws in the front hub of these bicycles can loosen, which prevents the front wheel from turning and creates a fall hazard. The affected bicycles have "Specialized" printed on the down tube and either "Source Eleven" or "Source Expert" on the top tube, with front hubs marked "www.supernova-lights.com" and one of these model numbers: 1207, 1208, 1226, 1227, 1228, 1241, 1254, 1263, 1284, or 1344.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop riding the affected bicycles and take them to an authorized Specialized dealer for a free replacement front wheel and new Supernova front hub.
