Cubetensils Children’s Eating Utensils Recalled by Edoche Due to Choking Hazard

Is my product affected?

Children's spoon and fork sets

  • Brand Edoche, Inc., of Seattle, Wash.

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Edoche is recalling Cubetensils children's eating utensil sets because the plastic handles can detach from the stainless steel utensil heads, creating a choking hazard for infants. Each set contains a spoon and fork, both measuring 5.75 inches long with rotating handle segments designed to create different visual patterns. The sets were sold in seven designs—alphabet, moon and stars, nature, princess, rockets, trucks, and veggies—and came packaged in brown cardboard boxes with clear front windows. The utensils are marked with "Edoche" on the bottom and "Stainless Steel China" on the metal heads, and the packaging warns "Not for children under 3."

According to the recall notice, consumers who own these utensils should immediately remove them from children and contact Edoche for a full refund.
