BRP is recalling certain 2013 Ski-Doo snowmobile models because the fuel pump inlet fitting can break when it comes into contact with the oil tank, causing fuel to leak and creating a fire hazard. The recall affects numerous 2013 models including the Freeride, Grand Touring LE, GSX, MX Z, Renegade, Skandic Tundra Xtreme, and Summit series with either 600HO E-TEC or 800R E-TEC engines. You can identify your snowmobile's model name on the vehicle's side panel.
If you own an affected snowmobile, you should immediately stop using it and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free repair. BRP has already notified registered owners directly about this recall.
