When the lock engages unintentionally, the saw blade remains exposed after the plunge cut is complete, creating a risk of laceration to users. The recalled units have date codes between 02/13 and 05/13 and serial numbers ranging from 40033594 through 40074108, which can be found on the rating plate under the main handle.
