Frigidaire Recalls Professional Blenders Due to Laceration Hazard

What happened

Frigidaire is recalling Professional brand blender model FPJB56B7MS with serial numbers between FFP 49 1203 0001 and FFP 49 1237 00974. The recalled blenders have a 56-ounce clear glass jar, brushed aluminum body, and black buttons and base. The blade shaft assembly in these blenders can break during normal use, which creates a risk of cuts or lacerations to users.

If you own one of the recalled blenders, you should stop using it immediately and contact Frigidaire for return instructions. Frigidaire will provide a free replacement blender at no cost to consumers. You can verify if your blender is affected by checking the serial number on the plate located underneath the motor base.
