Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Masterbuilt Manufacturing is recalling two models of electric smokers (models 20070312 and 20070512) because the wood chip tray can fail to slide securely into place, which can cause the wood to combust and the smoker's cabinet door to blow open, creating a fire hazard. The recalled smokers are rectangular black cabinets with stainless steel doors featuring glass windows, a top-mounted control panel, and come with a remote control. The smaller model measures approximately 32 inches high by 17 inches wide by 15 inches deep, while the larger model measures approximately 40 inches high by 22 inches wide by 16 inches deep.
Consumers who own a recalled smoker should immediately stop using it and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Consumers should then contact Masterbuilt Manufacturing to request a free repair kit.
