Is my product affected?

Aztec Light Chandeliers

  • Brand The L.D. Kichler Co., of Cleveland, Ohio

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Kichler Lighting has recalled Aztec nine-light chandeliers sold exclusively at Lowe's stores under the PORTFOLIO brand name due to a defect in the fixture loop that connects the hanging chain to the lamp. This loop can fail during use, causing the entire chandelier to fall from the ceiling and potentially injure people below. The affected chandeliers are metal with an olde bronze finish, measure approximately 31 inches wide by 31 inches high, feature etched amber glass shades with a decorative faux marble ball in the center, and have distinctive single-curve upper arms and S-shaped lower arms. The model number 34330 and "Aztec" name appear on a sticker inside the ceiling canopy.

Consumers with these chandeliers should keep people away from the area directly beneath them and contact Kichler to obtain information about a free repair kit or replacement chandelier.
