PAPYRUS has recalled its Signature Collection Red 17-Inch Decorative Trees due to the discovery of Aspergillus mold spores on the products. This mold poses a risk of respiratory or other infections, particularly for individuals with chronic health problems or impaired immune systems. The recalled tree is a 17-inch tall metallic-looking red resin decoration with a gold base and gold and red embellishments, packaged in a decorative box with a jeweled lid. The product can be identified by UPC code 9000165441, which appears on the hangtag or on a label on the bottom of the box.
According to the recall, consumers should immediately place the tree in a container and return it along with the decorative box to their nearest PAPYRUS store or contact Schurman Retail Group for return instructions.
