What happened

Mansfield Plumbing Products has recalled acrylic bathtubs, whirlpools, and air massage baths sold under ten product names: Avalon, Barrett, Baywood, Brentwood, Camden, Castille, Covington, Hampton, Montclair, and Reo. The grab bars attached to the interior of these tubs at shoulder height can loosen and break, creating a fall hazard. The grab bars were available in multiple styles and colors, including white, brushed nickel, oil rubbed bronze, polished brass, and chrome.

Consumers who own affected bathtubs should immediately contact Mansfield Plumbing to request a free grab bar repair kit.
