What happened

Kickboard USA has recalled the three-wheeled Mini Micro scooter designed for children ages 3-5. The one-piece plastic platform that covers the front wheel base can break, creating sharp edges that pose a laceration hazard to children. The scooters were sold in blue, orange, pink, and aqua colors and have "Micro" written on the metal handlebar and hand grips, with "Mini Micro" printed on the front plastic covering.

The recall affects specific model numbers and serial numbers found on a sticker on the bottom of the scooter: Model MM0079 (serial numbers 00061617-00064364 and 00064767-00065762), Model MM0080 (serial numbers 00066371-00666401 and 00097291-00098286), Model MM0109 (serial numbers 00093571-00093870), and Model MM0113 (serial numbers 00067871-00068370). "Micro" is written in black and blue letters on the metal handlebar and is imprinted on the black hand grips. "Mini Micro" is written on the front plastic covering.
