What happened

Havertys Furniture is recalling Sonoma Valley Bar Stools due to a fall hazard. The bolts that attach the seat to the leg assembly can loosen and cause the seat to separate from the stool. The recall affects wooden bar stools with a swivel seat, slatted backrest, curved armrests, and cream-colored cloth cushion that were sold between October 2010 and March 2012 in 24-inch or 30-inch heights with model numbers SV-BS-760SW-AMR-C24 or SV-BS-760SW-AMR-C30.

Havertys is contacting affected customers directly and will send a technician to install replacement bolts at no cost, along with providing a repair kit. Consumers who believe they own an affected bar stool should wait for direct contact from Havertys or contact the company.
