What happened

H&M is recalling 16 ounce water bottles in pink with a crackle design or solid blue plastic because the spout can break off, creating a choking hazard for children. The bottles have flip-top lids matching the bottle color and are marked with "H&M Sweden" and "www.hm.com" embossed on the bottom. The recalled bottles were manufactured in June 2012, which can be identified by checking the embossed date clock on the bottom of the bottle—the arrow on the clock should point to the number 6 in the outer circle.

Consumers who have purchased this water bottle should immediately stop using it. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should return the bottle to H&M for a full refund.

The water bottle contains the manufacture date in an embossed date clock on the bottom of the bottle. The inner circle on the clock contains the number 12 with an arrow between the two numbers. The arrow points at the number 6 in an outer circle of numbers.
