What happened

Samuel Lawrence Furniture is recalling Bordeaux Collection sleigh beds because the hardware that holds the headboard and footboard together can loosen or detach, creating a fall hazard. The recall affects king- and queen-size models with wooden headboards and footboards in cherry finish and matching wooden side rails. The recalled beds have model numbers 8070-252 and 8070-253 (queen-size) or 8070-272 and 8070-273 (king-size), which are printed on a white label on the back of the headboard and footboard.

Consumers who own one of the recalled beds should immediately stop using it and contact Samuel Lawrence Furniture to obtain a free repair kit.
