What happened

He Shan Lide has recalled clip-on desk lamps sold at Lowe's stores due to a hazard with the power cord. The power cord can detach where it connects to the clamp, which exposes live wires and creates a risk of electric shock. The recalled lamps are pink or blue plastic LED desk lamps with a flexible metal neck about 12 inches long and a clamp base. The power cord has a silver label marked with "MET," "Electrical Safety," "E113152," and "Apr. 2011" on one side, and model number F3044-AC-01 (pink) or F3044-AC-02 (blue) on the other side. The plug is labeled "KENIC KE 01P E155176."

According to the record, consumers should immediately stop using the lamp and unplug the power cord. Consumers must cut the power cord 2 to 3 inches above the plug and discard the lamp. They should send the plug to He Shan Lide at 4570 Eucalyptus Ave, Suite C, Chino, CA 91710, along with their name and address, to receive a full refund that includes the cost of return postage.
