What happened

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is recalling Levetiracetam in 0.54% Sodium Chloride Injection 1,500 mg/100mL manufactured by Gland Pharma Limited. The recall affects 2,770 bags (277 selling units) of lot ABD807 with an expiration date of 05/2020 that were distributed nationwide. The infusion bags have a labeling error in which the pre-printed text on the primary bag and the NDC number incorrectly identify the product as containing 0.75% Sodium Chloride with a strength of 1,000 mg/100mL, while the external foil pouch correctly identifies the actual product as containing 0.54% Sodium Chloride with a strength of 1,500 mg/100mL.
