GE Healthcare is recalling the GE Advantage CT/PET Fusion for Advantage Windows Workstation with Volume View CT Colonography/Navigator 2 software (versions 4.0, 4.1, or 4.2) due to a potential safety issue involving incorrect alignment of fused CT and PET images. The software allows simultaneous viewing of a PET study and a CT study in fused mode, but the two images may not be properly aligned as they should be.
