Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is recalling 24 Artis zee floor MN X-ray systems (Model Number 10094142) distributed nationwide. The systems have a coolant leak hazard in the cooling circuit that, if the coolant level drops below a certain threshold, prevents adequate cooling of the X-ray tube. When this occurs, the system displays a "TUBE HOT, have a break" message, and several minutes later blocks X-ray function and displays "NO XRAY: TUBE TOO HOT" to prevent further equipment damage.
