Zimmer Biomet, Inc. is recalling 638 units of Affixus Hip Fracture Nail, RH 125 DEG 11MM X 440MM (Item No. 814311440, Lot No. 666800 with expiration date 06/16/2027) distributed nationwide in the US, Portugal, and the Netherlands. During rework of a previous April 17, 2017 field action, it was discovered that the set screw and sleeve assembly—which are designed to fit together with interference—were no longer in their proper installed location on some units.
