What happened

REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2019-2020 Fleetwood Pace Arrow motorhomes (models 33D, 36U, 35QS, 35S, 35RB, and 35E) due to a potential electrical hazard in the auxiliary battery system. The metal hold-down bracket that secures the battery inside the interior step compartment may loosen, causing the bracket to shift and contact the battery terminals, which could result in a short circuit and increase the risk of fire.

To remedy this issue, REV dealers will install replacement battery hold-down mounting hardware at no charge to owners. Owners of affected motorhomes should contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417 to arrange the repair. The recall began on September 17, 2020, and REV's reference number for this recall is 200728REV.
