2019 AIRSTREAM BASECAMP
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Airstream is recalling certain 2019 Airstream Basecamp X recreational vehicles because the Federal Certification Label and Tire Placard contain incorrect tire information. The labels state the vehicles have 235/55R18 Load Range D tires requiring 80 psi of pressure, when the vehicles are actually equipped with 235/75R15 Load Range D tires requiring 51 psi. If owners follow the incorrect label information and overinflate the tires, it increases the risk of a crash.
To remedy this issue, Airstream will send affected owners a new corrected Federal Certification Label and Tire Placard at no charge. Owners should contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 extension 7401 or 7411 to initiate the recall process. The recall began on February 22, 2019.
