Chrysler is recalling certain 2014-2017 Ram ProMaster vehicles because the sun visor labels, dashboard labels, and owner's manuals contain incorrect information about the air bag systems. The labels state that these vehicles have frontal driver and passenger advanced air bags when they actually do not. This incorrect information could cause occupants to position themselves closer to air bags than is safe, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
To address this issue, Chrysler dealers will correct the sun visor labels, dashboard labels, and owner's manual information at no cost to owners. The recall began June 14, 2017. Affected owners should contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403 to arrange for the corrections. Chrysler's recall number is T24.
