Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ride The Ducks International LLC is recalling certain 1999-2002 Stretch Amphibious passenger vehicles because the headlights may be mounted at an incorrect height. The headlights were potentially installed 56 inches above the ground instead of the required height of between 22 and 54 inches. When headlights are positioned too high, they can reduce visibility and increase the risk of crashes by blinding oncoming drivers.
To remedy this issue, RTDI will notify affected vehicle owners, and authorized dealers will relocate the headlights to the proper height at no charge. The recall began on April 20, 2017. Owners of affected vehicles should contact RTDI customer service at 1-417-266-7600 to arrange the free repair.
