What happened

C&M Trailers, Inc. is recalling certain 2016 Boat Trailers, Jet Ski Trailers, and 5x10 Utility Trailers manufactured between June 1, 2016, and December 1, 2016. These trailers may be missing front reflex reflectors, which are required by federal safety standards. Missing reflex reflectors make trailers more difficult for other drivers to see, increasing the risk of a crash.

C&M will notify owners of affected trailers and will send them the missing reflex reflectors at no charge for owners to install. The recall began on February 21, 2017. Owners of potentially affected trailers should contact C&M customer service at 1-972-875-4528.

C&M Trailers Inc. (C&M) is recalling certain model year 2016 Boat Trailers, Jet Ski Trailers and 5x10 Utility Trailers manufactured June 1, 2016, to December 1, 2016. The affected trailers may be missing front reflex reflectors. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
