2016 HEARTLAND 18' CARHAULER
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Heartland Recreational Vehicles is recalling certain 2016 18' Carhauler dovetail trailers manufactured between December 1, 2015, and April 30, 2016. The recalled trailers have clearance lights that cannot be seen from the rear, which increases the risk of a crash and violates federal safety standards for lighting equipment.
To remedy the issue, Heartland will notify owners and have dealers install new P2-rated beehive-style clearance lamps on the front and rear sides of the trailers at no charge. The recall began on July 22, 2016. Affected owners should contact Heartland customer service at 1-573-471-6826.
