What happened

Starcraft RV is recalling certain 2016 AR-One toy hauler trailers, model 17XTH, that were manufactured between October 28, 2015, and January 19, 2016. These trailers may have labels displaying incorrect tire size and inflation pressure information. If tires are replaced based on these incorrect labels, the trailer's handling could be adversely affected or tire failure may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

To remedy this issue, Starcraft will mail owners corrected labels at no charge. Owners of affected trailers should contact Starcraft customer service at 1-800-945-4787 and reference recall number 9902260 to report their ownership and receive the corrected labels.

Hazard

If the tires are replaced with ones that are of an incorrect size and pressure, the handling of the trailer may be adversely affected or tire failure may occur. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.

Starcraft RV (Starcraft) is recalling certain model year 2016 AR-One toy hauler trailers, model 17XTH, manufactured from October 28, 2015, through January 19, 2016. The affected trailers may be equipped with labels that indicate incorrect tire size and tire inflation information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires-Other than Passenger Cars."
