Is my product affected?

MILESTAR BS623

  • Brand MILESTAR

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Tireco Inc. is recalling certain Milestar BS623 tires in size 225/70R 19.5 G/14 that were manufactured between June 23, 2013, and January 24, 2015. These tires have incorrect markings on the sidewall that identify both load ratings as "DUAL" when the first rating should instead be identified as "SINGLE." Because the markings are wrong, operators may inadvertently overload the tires, which could cause them to fail and increase the risk of a crash.

Owners of affected tires will be notified by Tireco and are eligible to receive a full refund of the entire purchase price. The recall began on October 14, 2016. Owners should contact Tireco customer service at 1-800-937-9433 to arrange the refund.
