2015 NISSAN MURANO
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Nissan is recalling certain 2015 Murano vehicles manufactured between December 4, 2014, and March 17, 2015, due to a defect in the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) actuator. The actuators may contain contamination in the solenoid valves that prevents them from fully closing or opening, which can cause hydraulic brake pressure to build up abnormally or drop completely. When the ABS is activated under certain driving conditions, this malfunction could cause the vehicle to lose stability and increase the risk of a crash.
If you own an affected vehicle, Nissan will notify you and dealers will inspect and replace the ABS actuator for free. The recall process began on August 13, 2015. To proceed, contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.
