Keystone RV Company is recalling certain recreational vehicles with quad entry steps that may fail due to rivets shearing. The recall affects 2013-2015 Montana vehicles manufactured between November 1, 2012, and May 22, 2014; 2014-2015 Raptor vehicles manufactured between February 3, 2014, and January 15, 2015; and 2015 Dutchmen Voltage vehicles manufactured between May 6, 2014, and February 3, 2015. If the rivets shear and fail, the steps may collapse when in use, which could cause a person to fall and suffer injury.
To remedy this issue, Keystone dealers will inspect the quad steps and replace two rivets joining the second and third step as well as four rivets on the top step with fasteners at no charge. Affected owners should contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 to arrange service, referencing recall number 15-224.
