Is my product affected?

  • Brand TIFFIN

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Tiffin Motorhomes is recalling certain 2014 Allegro Bus recreational vehicles equipped with specific Villa International ABTS driver and passenger seats. The seat belt attachment on these seats may be incorrect, and the seat belt can fray if it rubs against a steel bracket, which weakens the belt and prevents it from properly restraining occupants during a crash.

To address this issue, Tiffin will notify owners and dealers will inspect and repair the single link system with fasteners and re-attach the seat belt bracket at no cost. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661.

Hazard

The weakened seat belt may fail to properly restrain the seat occupant in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

What should I do?

Tiffin will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, repair the single link system with fasteners and re-attaching the seat belt bracket, free of charge. The recall began in August 18, 2014. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661.
