2014 STARCRAFT COMET
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Starcraft RV is recalling certain 2014 Comet recreational vehicles manufactured between August 22, 2013, and December 10, 2013. These vehicles have inaccurate certification labels that incorrectly identify the tire load range. If owners replace the tires based on this incorrect information, they may install tires with an insufficient load range, which could result in sudden tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
All affected trailers are currently quarantined at dealer locations, and Starcraft will send corrected labels to those dealers. The recall began on January 20, 2014. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Starcraft Customer Service at 1-800-945-4787 for assistance.
