Skyline Corporation is recalling certain 2011 model year recreational vehicles and fifth wheel travel trailers, including Layton, Aljo, Nomad, Weekender, and Mountain View models manufactured between August 23, 2010, and September 28, 2010. These vehicles are equipped with Tredit Tire 15" painted wheels in Spoke or Mod models. The recalled wheels may contain mis-aligned welds that could cause the wheels to break during use, increasing the risk of a crash.
Skyline will notify owners and repair the affected vehicles free of charge. The recall began on December 2, 2010. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Skyline Consumer Relations at 1-800-733-4250 to arrange for the repair.
