2010 FLEETWOOD ENCOUNTER; 2011 FLEETWOOD STORM
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Fleetwood RV is recalling certain 2010 Encounter and 2011 Storm 28MS Class A motor homes manufactured between December 16, 2009 and July 1, 2010. These motor homes lack an emergency egress window in the road side bedroom wall. If the entry door and the door side bedroom emergency egress window become blocked, occupants in the bedroom would have no way to exit the motor home in an emergency such as a fire, creating a risk of personal injury.
To address this issue, dealers will remove the existing road side window and replace it with an emergency egress window at no charge. Owners of affected motor homes should contact Fleetwood Owner Relations at 800-509-3418 to arrange for the repair.
