2010 BLUE BIRD ALL AMERICAN
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Blue Bird Body Company has recalled certain model year 2010 All American school buses manufactured between May 13, 2009 and February 26, 2010 due to a defect in the rear tag light wiring harness. The harness may be too short, causing it to be routed improperly and exposing the connector to environmental elements that can lead to corrosion. This corrosion can cause an electrical short in the tag light circuit, which shares wiring with the headlight low beam circuit, potentially resulting in sudden loss of low beam headlights while driving and impairing driver vision.
Blue Bird will repair affected buses at no charge by installing the correct length harness. The safety recall began on April 14, 2010. Owners of affected buses should contact Blue Bird at 1-478-822-2242 to arrange for the repair.
