BCA (Back Country Access) avalanche airbags are being recalled because the retaining ring on the trigger assembly can be inadvertently removed or become dislodged when users connect the trigger assembly to the compressed air cylinder. If this occurs, the airbag may not deploy properly when the trigger is pulled during an avalanche. The affected models include Float 30 Airbag Pack, Float 18 Airbag Pack, Float 36 Airbag Pack, Float 22 (Blue and Black), Float 32 (Red), and Float Throttle (Black). The product was found to not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Directive.
