Mlthogar plastic dolls with references 29020, 29013, 28740, and 29006 are being recalled because their doll heads contain levels of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) that violate safety regulations. Specifically, the heads contain between 20.11% and 28.87% DEHP by weight. DEHP is a chemical prohibited in all toys and childcare articles under the REACH Regulation. The affected dolls include blonde romantic dolls with gold tops and pink/gold or geometric-patterned skirts, fashionable dolls with pink dresses, and other girl dolls in model variants 2014 and 8061.
The affected products were rejected at the border during import, which prevented them from entering the market. The recall record does not specify what actions consumers who may already possess these dolls should take.
