Plastimo inflatable life jackets equipped with Hammar MA1 hydrostatic inflaters and iSi CO2 cylinders are being recalled due to a hazard that the life jackets may not inflate fast enough, which increases the risk of drowning during use. The affected products do not comply with Personal Protective Equipment Regulation requirements. The recalled models include EVO 165, PILOT ZIP 165 AD, PILOT 165, PILOT 165 ZIP, PILOT 165 ZIP AD, and PILOT 290 life jackets, along with their corresponding re-arming kits, which were manufactured between October 2019 and January 2022 and sold from September 2021 through April 2022.
